Hi all, It has only happened twice so far but something is not right. When planting my foot to the floor at about 5000 rpm the power stops and its like someone is tapping the break for a split second and then the power is on again through the rev range. Im not sure if its always at 5000 rpm ( its only happened twice in 2 weeks) I have a 2.0tfsi quattro 2005 i was just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this. I dont think its a misfire i have no codes as they have been cleared about a week ago and it still happened.

    Cheers

    Hi mate,

Are you saying there was fault codes but you have cleared them?

I have a miss fire on mine but it has only come up with a code once but it does it under heavy acceleration ramdomly from time to time.
