Hi wondered if any one could give me some advice? A friend of mine has got car insurance and want to cancel it and go with another company, (as it is cheaper) the company she is with wants £50 for cancelation fee!! Would you just stop the direct debit so then the insurance becomes void? or would this make problems with gettin insurance in the future?

    Cheers

Pay the cancelation fee or move it next year. Don't muck insurers about though as she WILL end up the loser. How much of a saving is it and how's the cover? Cheap doesn't = good
