Can you or has anyone changed the colour of their dash lights??? Pics and Help plz!!

As above i am not very keen on the red and white back lit dash, was wondering if it was possible to change the colour using bulbs or how easy it is to do if possible at all?

Khufu has changed his climate LEDs for white ones. You can change the cluster for a White one if you have red. Not sure about the rest

He has, but not all of them as yet, cluster wise they're smd's not bulbs so at your own risk as the cluster is also your immo.

This is the ones I used:

20 x ULTRA BRIGHT WHITE PLCC-2 SMD LEDs SMT LED PLCC2 on eBay (end time 14-Nov-10 16:39:37 GMT)


All you need is a steady hand & a narrow tipped solder iron! TBH, mine all work fine but no points for "penmanship" LOL

I was only brave enough to do the climate, the RNS-E is a bit more costly to ****** up though i still plan to get round to windows swiches etc

I thought you changed the screen to white, not the button colour

The Screen requires a different 4 pin LED - I struggled to do the 2 pin ones Would need a better tip on solder & magnifying glass LOL.
