Can you convert W reg A3 bumpers into facelift?

Hi, i bought my a3 at the weekend, a W reg 1.8T, was just wandering if you can straight swap the front/back bumpers with facelift bumpers? ive had a search on the forum but can't really find anything?
can anyone help please?

Thanks. Ive been looking on the forum and im a bit confused still though. There are two new facelift bumpers? an 05-08 one and a new 09 facelift bumper? could i put either on or just the 1st facelift bumper? sorry if im really confusing!! thanks for your help!

i was always wondering this as i much prefer the bumper of the new a3s

yeh...maybe i didnt make myself clear. can you convert say a w reg a3's bumper into the new bumpers that have the one big grill at the front?

Ahh right, In that case its a no no unfortanatly....I thought you meant the 2001-2003 Facelift. There are some bumpers you can buy with a simular style to the new A3's but there not my cup of tea :s

Anything is possible at a cost, but it's no bolt on.

There are aftermarket bumpers that can give the look you want, search member Northenlights in the Pics section, he has a similar kit
