Hi guys, I've been with SKY second year now. Called them today to change my address and car on the policy. The adviser came back to me saying that Chaucer will not insure me on the address I moved to. It is bloody strange because my girlfriend didn't have any problems with her insurance company. The problem is that they want to charge me £50 for cancelling the policy! It isn't me who is cancelling. In the policy there is no list of postcodes which are excluded from their insurance so how was I supposed to know? It is really annoying because I will have to pay the admin fee £50, plus I will lose 5 months no claim discount and will have to pay deposit etc. for the new insurance. Really annoyed with Sky which seemed like a decent insurance company. I think it is time to move to competition.
