Can i use a A3 1.8T M Reg as a parts donor for a 2001 AUDI A3 1.8T QUATTRO

    Can i use a A3 1.8T M Reg as a parts donor for a 2001 AUDI A3 1.8T QUATTRO i no its a six speed gear box but what about engine parts

    A3's were released in 96 which is P reg. That means it's a private plate so won't be a true M reg.

    Best thing to do is try and check the sticker in the spare wheel well or service book and check if the engine code is the same as yours.

    A3 wasnt available on an M reg, might be worth checking the original details of the car, as that doesnt sound right.
