Hi guys, is there a VAGCOM setting for turning off the lights on the display until the headlights are turned on? Thanks...

You can switch the DIS off by tapping on the reset button underneath your wiper stalk, and you can reduce the brightness of the clock lights with the dials by the light switch, but not completely turn them off, not a feature of vagcam that I know of anyways.

i thought you could set them with vagcom to 1. dash on at all times 2. dash on with lights 3. dial backlights only on with lights off.

The instruments will dim and then go off if the light level outside is such that the lights need turning on. It states this in the manual.
