Can i make my drl's come on when..

i love my drls wish i could turn them on as gude me home lights they are bright enough. can this be done ?

as far as I'm aware only fogs or dipped can be home lights

My drls do this, they stay on for 30 secs when locking and come on when unlocking the car in dark, look good

As does my mum's A1, I suspect if it isn't in the DIS menu, it'll have to be done through vagcom.

I've tried this on Vagcom as I don't have auto lights. I've selected both Coming home ( CH ) and leaving home (LH) lights but it doesnt work with just coding on my car.

It can be done though there is a thread on it somewhere but you need to use a repair wire and do a little bit of DIY. Is a good mod to do especially with the dark morning and nights coming . I'm no DIY expert though so if any generous soul wants a quick £20 and is in Bucks or surrounding counties PM this way .
