Can I get the Concert head unit to say iPOD?

So,

I've just installed the Audi iPOD kit into my A4 (2004) - and it's great! I was so fed up with constantly tweeking the mini FM transmitter...this is splendid.

A quick (slightly anal) question, but, is it possible to re-programme the Concert head unit to display 'iPOD' instead of CDC?

I have VAG com shareware version 409 if that helps.

No it is not possible.

Basically the iPOD adapter emulates a CD changer so to all intense and purposes the Concert head unit thinks you have a CD changer and hence calls it CDC.


It's all a bit of a crap attempt at iPOD integration really but it's the best we can (from Audi at least) get and at least the sound is ok.
