As some of you may know I need a new head gasket. I'm looking into buy a comedic triple layer one. Only problem is cometic seem to make head gaskets for every engine code apart from the AUM engine. Mine is a AUM 1.8t 2001 model. Are all engine codes the same measurements head wise or have try different measurements? Can I use a similar engine code from a 2001 a3 1.8t?
Can anyone help on engine code?

Just buy an elring one from GSF... they are the OEM manufacturer...
All 20v turbo head gaskets are the same beasty for the transverse engine IIRC..
