Can a front-damaged 2008 A3 be converted into a 2009???

So I have been getting a lot of help here trying to decide how to restore my A3 and I realized that
because I have to replace basically entire front (hood, fenders, etc) of the car maybe it would be possible to go completely with 2009+ parts??? They seem to be priced the same as 08!!!

Youd also need bonnet, wings, headlights, wing-mirrors for the side indicators and an alteration to the wiring but is more then possible
