Can a Facelift Rear Diffuser for S3 fit Pre-Facelift one (2008 S3) ?

Question is in the title really...

Can it be done? Is it a straight swap? I know the Rear Facelift Diffuser is visually different to the Pre-Facelift one but I'm guessing the fitments/dimensions are the same?
Could do with a bit of advice on this people!

You would need a complete valance to fit to the bottom of the bumper upper, the actual facelift insert wont fit to pre valance as pnp & I wouldnt bother cutting it to make it fit, its about £200+ for those bits aswell iirc as its not one whole piece like the pre was.

I actually have a facelift complete valance I was going to sell as a whole on my 3dr S3 bumper.
