Cam sensor/crankshaft sensor

Hi guys,
I dont have a Haynes manual to hand sadly and cannot find anything online.
Could some please advise my as to where the Cam sensor/crankshaft sensor is. I have a 1997 1.8 A3.

your in the wrong section mate, you need 8L section....but the crank sensor for that model is situated below the oil filter and held in with a single bolt, the cam sensor is to the left or right of the rocker cover, they are both different things entirely, crank sensor is easiest and cheapest to fit
