Cam chain 2007 S3

Hi got a 2007 S3, did the cambelt kit and water pump a 1000 miles ago now I'm worried about when to do the cam chain, as I'm going stage 2 I don't want it to fail, how easy is it do the cam chain?? Many thanks craig
