Hey guys,
I have a pretty bad oil leak, and I was under the car the other day trying to figure out where it was coming from. Well, it seems to be coming from the cam seals or cam adjuster seals, something like that.

Anyway, has anyone ever done the job of replacing these seals themselves? I am looking at doing it myself as I am pretty familiar with the mechanics of cars. Just looking for some info on this specific issue.
TIA!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif

if your doing the rear adhuster seals you should really take the cams out and do it if it is the front one take the belt off and there is a special tool to wind into the old seal and pull it out

Decided it wasn't worth buying all the special tools so I took it to the garage. They did both the adjuster seals and the cam seals for $250. I figured the risk of messing something up was too much on this job so I took it in. Thanks for the help!
