Is there any cab drivers out there?

I'm after a little bit of information and some measurements if possible.

The hydraulic rams that opens and closes your roof.
How many do you have?
What is their length when fully extended?
What is their length when fully collapsed?
What is the thickness of the rams at the widest part?
Are the top and bottom both ball joints?

I think that's it.
Thanks.

if it wasnt raining id check

do you need the part that puts the back cover up.
the 1 the hood hides under when sown ?

No idea mate.
I don't even know what you guys have or how it works.

I'm wondering if they will fit/replace my current Avant boot struts.
Slap in a pump and some electrical gadgetry and in theory automatic opening/closing boot lid.

So the basic ideas go.

no probs you will need the size of the rams for the hood cover
as above if it stops raining ill sort it for you.

Here's the measurements from my current rams.

10" when closed, not counting the ball sockets on the end.
17" extended, not counting the ball sockets on the end.
1.5" diameter.

Or

254mm when closed, not counting the ball sockets on the end.
431.8mm extended, not counting the ball sockets on the end.
38.1mm diameter.
