Hi, I'm fitting a old M Station (MP3 player) in the wheel arch of my car I've connected it up to the head unit and now have to connect to a live and earth. It says connect to the live and earth that supply the head unit, I don't want to do that as if I **** it up I won't have any music at all.

So the question is, are there any suitable cables in the passengers side wheel arch that I can connect to? I thought about the supplies to the lights, but they wont be live until the lights are switched on, will they?

Hope someone can help, thanks in advance, Christian.

You can connect to the permanent live that feeds the sub/rear amp. It's the big fat red cable with a white stripe on non Bose.
