C6 4F front number plate holder

Morning,

could someone tell me if the front number plate holder of my 2009 4F Avant (S line) can be removed from the grill?

I have a 5 digit private plate to install and would like a shortened plate but from what I can see the holder seems integrated to the grill itself.

I've looked around I can't see any screws holding the damn thing in place!

I believe it can be removed as someone on ASN done it... Dunno how though!

Thanks for the link but at the bottom of the thread user "Forbez" has posted that he think his plate holder is part of the grill. I think I'm going to have to admit defeat because it definitely seems to be moulded into the grill.
