Buying advice for Audi S3, late 2007

Hi all,

I am new to the site and decided I would join as I definitely want to buy an 8P chassis S3. I have seen a few that I like, in particular in the Ibis White, but just wondered if any of you had any serious buying tips, or things to look out for? Is there anything I should be wary of or any specific questions I should be asking the seller?

I am looking at my first one next weekend, its late 2007 on a 57 plate with roughly 43 000 miles on the clock and stating it has full service history.

Check the history and servicing,look for any mods,including exhaust,suspension and brakes,and on one of that age,make sure that all of the things like cam followers and Haldex service if appropriate,have been done.

If it's been modified in any way,you need to be very sure that the servicing has been carried out by someone reputable,and that the intervals have been shortened.....if there's any doubt,walk away.
