Buying a foreign Deregistered Imported Audi. Help Needed

Hi guys,
won a LHD car I just won off eBay.
it was brought from Cyprus to UK and but it has no registration plate as
it has been deregistered but the seller says he has the Cyprus logbook.
my question is, how can I register this car on UK roads.
would I have to pay import duties.
what do I need to look for.
any extension of help would be appreciated.

I've tried it but the results are inconclusive.
I was told by HMRC that northern Cyprus is not part of the EU
but southern Cyprus is in the EU territory.
the first big problem is that if it turns out that thethe address on the logbook
belongs to northern Cyprus then I might have to pay
duties but if the car belongs to southern Cyprus then no
duties are payable.
the second big problem I have is reading the log book.
its all in a format which cant be typed on Google.
I need someone who can read or interpret the Cypriot language.
