Buying a Audi 80

hi i am looking at going to buy a J reg Audi 80 salon 2.0E Auto

i have never had an automatic befor and dont really know what to look out for any help would be great as cant help but to think i am going into the viewing a bit in the dark

any help about audi 80's or auto boxes would be a great help
