Bulbs warranty

Hello,
Are bulbs covered under warranty? I'm getting a warning light saying that my number plate lights are not working... Checked it and yep!!! Not working...
ive only done 7000 miles in the car from new. Surely the bulbs can't go that quick?

UPDATE:
I have just unscrewed the light ''thing'' to see what bulb it takes... & screwed it back in... Working fine now? Warning light gone? Reckon it's an electrical problem?...

Take it back anyway and get them to check it !

My car goes in like almost every week LOL, I bet Audi think I only come in for the free car wash!!!

Possibly... It didn't work at all until I unscrewed it & then screwed it back in now it works fine. I've taken photos of the warning light etc so I can show the service department when I take it in.
