    Hi all,
Not been on here much, work is **** at the minute and basically been off the boil. I did however manage to get to the first BTRDA Rally of 2009 yesterday in the snowy Gloucstershire Forest of Dean.

Was a brilliant but cold day, and the snow made for something different (I'd never done a Rally in snow before lol)

Here's some of my fav pics, and a link to all the pictures from the day: http://www.djaphoto.co.uk/media/main.php?g2_itemId=1790

A video of the day amongst others can be found here: http://www.djaphoto.co.uk/videos.html

You've got some nice shots there man. They are sharp and clear. What kit are you using for these?

Dan they are some quality pics you got there!!

    Did you take them yourself???

If so, have you done anything to them, or is that how they were when you took them??

Also, what camera do you use??

Thanks for the comments guys :)

I took these myself yes, I try to get to most BTRDA events, they are really good fun.

I use a Nikon D50 and Sigma 70-300mm APO DG II lens, shooting in RAW and processing in Photoshop CS2.

I try to keep them as natural as possible, but sometimes I have to tweak some things here and there so to bring out detail from shadows etc.

RAW is best for this as you can tweak far much more in RAW editing software as a post to a jpeg which is already compressed by the cameras built in computer.

Many more images on my website :) http://www.djaphoto.co.uk/
