BT ready??

I have an 07 a4 s line with mfsw. I would like to know if my car has the microphone already there for the bluetooth?
It doesnt have the bluetooth in the car as it comes up as "no function" when i press the button on the steering wheel.
can anyone help me here?

I pretty sure the microphone is already fitted. Its in the interior light cluster, you'll see 3 or 4 small slots, its in there. I was looking at fitting bluetooth and the guy that does it said the microphone is already installed so?

Im sure if Im wrong one of the guys on here will soon be along to correct me.

The mic isn't fitted but the space for it is there - it's not fitted on the 8p so I assume it's the same across the range.

It is never fitted, all cars with the exception of the A6 C4/C5 models have a space for the mic. With the A6 you usually have to replace the lighting dome.
