So did a service on my 2008 TTS at 47k miles. Typically the last owner missed a lot of the services bar oil and brake fluid changes.
Anyways changed the spark plugs to find 1 plug was particularly brown and the end of the ignition coil too.
Compared to the others it was pretty bad.
Looked down to the cylinder which seemed ok except a small portion where the plug sits.
Seems as if there could be a small crack?
Is this a sign of worse to come?
Also apparently there's 'better' coils now for VAG's that are identifiable by the sheath. What have others heard/know?
