Broken front wiper support

Guys anyone had this go before its actually the bracket that's snapped causing my wipers to be very loose

You could get it welded .. make some brackets up and drill and bolt or just replace it

Ha ha for the 1st time since iv has my car 2 cable ties 2 holes and my wipers actually wipe the whole family my drivers screen use to bump across the screen always put it down to my screen having spent nasty scratches on it

I was thinking more like 2 strips of metal then drill some holes and self tappers

I would think it would be just as easy to buy a new bracket or get a secondhand one as there's not a lot of room in there to get a drill. If you do take them out it gives you the chance to clean and grease up the linkage.

yea iv drilled and cable tied it for now till i can get another un broken one and yea i planned on greasing it up before fitting it found one local again for £25 does that sound a fair price??
