Broke my camshaft sprocket!!!!!!!!!!!

Bloomin typical. I was attempting to change the crankshaft end seal as its been leaking for ages. Went to remove the large crankshaft bolt using my tried and tested metal strap method to lock the pulley and then hung on the bolt as usual.

Then SNAP!!!!!

Took a look and I've broken the pulley /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burningmad.gif

Managed to convince me local Dealership to lend me the proper Audi special tool for holding the pulley over the weekend, but I'm without my car till then!!

Oh well that'll teach me to use the correct tools in the first place.....

I did plead a bit with the dealership. I know the parts guy and he put in a good word for me.

I was gonna buy the tool from them but it'll take two weeks to get it, and I need my car.
