So if people followed my last post about my S3 breaking, well its done the same thing again, coding for the cruise control.

So heart destroying seeing your pride and joy on a tow truck !

Oh no! :'(

Terrible, I know the feeling. You need to get it in writing that this will be a last fix and otherwise they will supply you with a new car.

I just saw the 'CX' registration, is this a South Wales dealer it's going to?

Oh Mike you have no chance, sorry for you.
Are you the only one with this problem?

Audi said they are in talks with Audi and looks like they are just going to code it back in again.

Im unaware of anyone else that has had this issue even with pre-facelift models.

unsure to be honest, was close to handing it back last time

Hi mate sorry to hear about your car
Is this a new fault to Audi and has anyone else heard of this fault.

Shocking news Mike. I'm not sure I'd keep it happening a second time.

Hope you get it sorted soon.

i Think it is a fault that they have never seen before,

The frustrating thing is they coding the car back in last time and obviously has not worked, i think this time they are going to do exactly the same and hand it back to me as they say they cant fix what they cant see as broken,

You going to have it back or go down the rejection route? I'd be well p****d off.

That's the problem with electrical faults sometimes, if there are no codes then it's literally impossible to fix.

If it's a coding issue I would Be inclined to replace the module.

If it does happens again try and note under what conditions it happened. Does that match with how it happened last time? Etc.. that way it may be easier for the technician to replicate the fault and have a better chance of fixing it.

theres codes present every time the light comes on .

Had the car back for a 2nd time last wednesday and yesterday the light came back on again, needless to say im not happy at all and now rejecting the vehicle, enough`s enough.

Have they actually found out what the cause is yet, or are they simply guessing? Been through the rejection process on a previous car. Hope it's a quick process for you.

That's absolutely ridiculous- the cars cursed- surprised they seem so lax about getting to the root of it.
Reject and walk away !

will reject but i still want a s3, see what they say tomorrow
