I have been looking at the Brodit website, having used some of their mounts in previous A3, to see if they do one of their Pro-clip basic mounts to fit the 8V. They do and it fits between the two centre air vents. I am considering one so that I can use one of the latest TomTom 6000 sat/nav for when I go on holiday to Germany. But I will only want the unit in the car for my holidays as I want to continue to use my TomTom ONE for every day use mainly for the speed camera database.
Has anyone used one of the Pro-clip mounts on an 8V. It's looks easy to fit and hopefully remove when not required.
