Why are people so defensive when I question Brexit.

What exactly are the benefits now?

More expensive cars?
Weaker Sterling?
Rise of Right wing extremists.

Thoughts?

Oh oh, popcorn ;)

All part of the Education process mate! Many former B** drivers have seen the light and bought AU**.

Maybe this is an opportunity to convert a few more.

No aggression, no rudeness on my part, just facts.

Stock market highs are the result of poor exchange rates surely.

As for employment (specialist subject) the numbers do not tell the full story, much more insecure low paid jobs, zero hours contracts and 'removing ' long term unemployed from data.

Employment - your specialist subject - could have fooled me :redface new: You are aware of the unemployment rates in Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece? :friendly wink:

Zero hours contracts - that old chestnut. They now apply to just 2.5% (up from 2.4%) of the working population (ONS). 54% are women and 20% of the total are students in full time education. A sizable percentage is in the cyclical, tourist industry. Employment agencies claim that they often allow employers to keep people in employment during a business downturn instead of making them redundant. 66% of people on them are entirely happy with them as their flexibility (whether to work or not) cuts both ways. :chuncky:

Old chestnut.. very valid. Where's the evidence to back up your claims. Preferably not Daily Fail.
I have seen so much denial of facts from Brexiteers.
In terms of Employment we are talking UK aren't we. Italy for example have very different social, economic and political drivers not really relevant to a uk Brexit which isn't going to happen.

should never have joined in the first place ......it's all our own fault, Britain used to be a strong & great nation, now just a surrender monkey to the rest of the EU.

Employment rates are manipulated, same with GDP and the majority of things which make the country appear better than it is.

You sound defensive and in denial - a bad dose of "remainitis". I recommend a full English at Wetherspoons :chuncky:
