Hi all.

New to Audi cars and loving this forum.....

I have a 2007 (57) A3 sportback 170

I now need brake discs and pads all round, I was told by dealer rears were worst, but going to change the lot.

What would you recommend for good price but not cheap rubbish.

want a good product for a fair price.

fitting myself as audi want £518.00 just for discs and fitting (no pads)!!!

the car will not be raced or tracked etc. I am 54 so not a boy racer lol.

just looking for quality and a sensible price and also best place to get them from

Many thanks

HI welcome to the forum i got standard brakes all round fitted for £200 so i cant believe audi wanted that much for just discs and fitting.... i would just go with the standard one they seem fine to me and with you saying your not goin to be doing any mods to the engine etc they should be good enough. Id say go the euro car parts their prices are ok.

Cheers Jonny
will look into it.
we also have a decent car spares place by us will try them as well
was just wondering what the ebay stuff would be like!

regards

Plus 1 for euro car parts, they have 25% off brake and service parts at the moment

Apparently Pagid make the pads and discs for Audi. I've not ordered anything from them yet, but these guys seem to do really good prices on Pagid stuff with free delivery which seems good: eBay My World - carpartssaver

Ive got EBC green stuff all round on mine... the discs are also ebc. Decently priced out there on many websites. Not sure if I can recommend a few particular ones on here so will be unable to suggest specific sites.

If you were thinkn of using the steelers the price you were quoted should include pads too as per this link on Audi's website

"
Brake pads & discs (front or rear) £259
" x2 £518

However its probably a lot cheaper to go to a specialist

I do like the look of the brembo disks....

Recently got Apec discs and pads all round for £128 from a local autofactor, about the same price for Pagid with the euro discount
