Brake warning on dash

Hey chaps.

bought my s3 a week ago. On its AA inspection carried out it was mentioned there was considerbale wear on the brakes and replacment woukd be neccesary.

Ive had the car a week done a few hundrerd miles. Tonight i did some spirited driving and as i was going around a tame corner my brake sensore flashed up. I didnt have time to read the warning and when i pulled over and turned the car on and off it dissapeared.

The brakes felt fine after the warning. I was just wondering if theres anything i should be aware of ?

The brakes are being changed next week anyhow, it was already booked with my garage

Any advice if needed would be greatly appreciated.

I'd just stay away from spirited driving until your brakes are changed and you'll be fine.

Pay attention to any dash lights for now and note what it is that is flashing at you. If you have anyone with VCDS nearby, then a quick scan wouldn't go amis, just to make sure.
