Ok this is about an A6. But I know you chaps in here and I don't really know the A6 lads.

The A6 suffered from the dreaded plenum water feature problem.
The brakes are terrible on this car. Never really feel like they want to work.
Anyway, the Mrs rang me this morning saying the brakes weren't working. I told her to knock the car off, pump the brakes and try again. Seemed fine apparently and she carried on (only had a short distance to go)

I seem to recall a problem about the water and the servo sucking up water.

    Is this a likely case?

My brake pedal feels fine, but if i hold it on. It slowly goes to the floor
Dont think its fluid leaking as the level isnt dropping in the reservor

    Is this the same fault/problem?

I've heard alot of people talk about this fault. Yet I'm still to own a car which doesn't do this to a certain degree.
