Just wanted to share my joy!

Having decided to do a brake overhaul on the A6 (new discs, pads, hoses and calipers refurbed and painted) I have just received the calipers back, very pleased with the results, can't wait to see them on the car. I'll share some pics once it's back together.

WOW:hubbahubba:!
They are nice, mate.
Are they all stock items, no upgrade?

The picture doesn't quite do them justice, I'll break out the proper camera for when they are fitted.

Those are the original calipers. I decided on the EBC discs and pads which hopefully will be better than the pagid ones that were on when I bought the car, although I suspect they had not been bedded in right.

Are the EBC better than Delphi?

Lovely colour you've chosen.

What colour is your car?

Wonder how this color would look on my car. Don't want to go for red or yellow. Silver maybe as got few details in silver.

I've never tried Delphi but I've been happy with EBC on previous cars I've owned so I have no reason to venture away from them. My car is Phantom black with pretty much everything in black so this will be the only colour for now. It's apparently the colour of a Cadbury's dairy milk wrapper! Sweet

They have just been dropped in at the garage where my car has been sat for the last few weeks, can't wait to get it back!

That colour is sweet, yes.

It will look really nice on black car.

They were done by Brake Caliper Specialists, based near Nottingham

Just checked the paperwork, they fully dismantle, ultrasonic clean all parts, shotblast the body of the caliper (and bracket), paint and then rebuild with new seals. They pressure test them once complete.

Quick picture, car is back on the road (at last!!). This is the driver's side front. When it's not rainy and dark I'll take better pictures.

Nice!

I thought it was more blue on the first picture.

Wicked with those disks

Thanks, the first pic was taken with my iPhone which makes the colours up as it sees fit!

Daytime pictures, of course the rain overnight has left a nice topcoat of orange on my rotors!
