My brake lights have stopped working.

I first noticed i had no cruise control. Plugged in VagCom and under block 66 the switch appears to be working fine. And so does the clutch switch.

I had a fault code on the engine ECU and the Haldex ECU: Intermittent brake switch etc...

Now i have notice i have no brake lights at all.

Question is: how is the ECU seeing a working switch signal, while the brake lights don't work at all (checked the fuse, 13).

Does the switch run two circuits, one for the ECU and one for the Light circuit? this is the only possible answer i can come up with...

    Cheers.

    Hi mate.
    Yes, the switch is D.P.
Check fuse 5. Other than that, no idea.
