Hi,

I'm planning to do some work on my brakes in January which will involve removing the calipers and sending them away to be refurbed. I'm thinking that I may as well upgrade the rubber hoses to steel braided ones at the same time. I was thinking of using bolts to plug the connectors once the hoses are off to stop the system emptying completely as well as to stop air getting into the ABS pump. Does anyone know 100% what size the connectors are so I know what size bolts to have ready for when I remove the hoses?

Thanks,

Thanks for the response

Hose clamps were my first thought but then I decided to include replacing the flexible hoses in my plan so that had to be revised. From what I've looked at the flexible hose has a male M10 connector so I'm hoping that 4 M10 bolts will be suitable to plug the solid hoses. This means I will have the flexible hoses free to make sure the replacements have the exact same connectors.
