Hi Guys,

I just got a letter through from my Local Audi dealer saying my Brake Fluid needs to be changed. Quick question i just got the first service done in December. Any reason why they wouldnt have done this in the Service? Seems like a bit of hassle taking it in again!

Got quoted £88 that sounds reasonable?

Cheers!

I'd take it to a indipendent specialist ( it's not like you need the stamp ) and get them to do it , be closer to £50

From memory has to be done every 2 years.

My Audi dealer charged me approx £70, about £80 seems to be about average, have a look on the sticky servicing thread for comparable prices.

Hi
Yes it is every 2 years
When I worked at the dealers on servicing I would have done it closer to the 2 years , not wait to drag you in again
It can make it quite tricky with long life servicing
Anyway we charge £59 + VAT for that using a good DOT4 fluid
