    Hey there,

I've just bought a 2007 Audi A3 S-Line and can see the bose embossed speaker covers in the front but not too sure whether this means I have the full Bose system installed  There are no obvious signs of a sub in the boot unless it's discreetly located underneath the lining? Also, there are no bose symbols on the back speakers although I'm not 100% that there are supposed to be. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers!

Put the radio on, open the trunk and listen.

Even all of the non-Bose A3's in the US have a sub.

The sub is behind the rear boot panel:

The Bose amp is on the opposite side:

But all A3's have a sub, Bose or non Bose.
Easiest way to tell is to fade the HU to front. If non Bose you will get no sub, if Bose you will still get sub.
Or play around with the Bass & Treble, if they don't really have much effect then you have Bose.

Speaker grills don't come off, you have to remove the door card.

If it's Bose, when you turn the headset on it should say so

You could also pull the radio out, look for the BOSE Pin from the Radio and check to see if it plugs into a pin in the wiring.
