Does anyone have a part number for both the left and right pressure pads on the boot? Both of mine have had water get in at some point and the connections are knackered, hence why it had never worked since I've had the car.

looking to get some replacements, I don't want to go to audi if I can avoid it, but at least a part number would be a start!

Will be a dealer part only... not the sort of thing you can buy after market... either find someone breaking an facelift A3/S3 and nab those or go to TPS/Audi...

wasn't thinking aftermarket, more breakers or random ebay find perhaps. just don't fancy paying dealer prices for what is only a minor niggle at its worst

have you actually called them and asked? VAG pricing is random as hell... 35 quid for a plastic pipe, 1.20 for a coil pack adaptor....

    You may be pleasantly surprised....
