Over the past few months I have noticed the occasional few drops of water in my boot. I looked in to more today and noticed it's coming in at the top of the boot on the drivers side and dripping the gap in the grey plastic interior trim. Has anyone else had this problem?

But it only comes through when it rains, I don't use the rear wiper/wash. I will check it anyway though. Thanks.

maybe one of the seals has gone, tip a bucket of water over and see where it comes in from with the plastic off.

have you got a sun roof ?

if so more then likely you got a blocked drain pipe and its over flowing into the boot. seen it happen on a few golfs.

Nope no sun roof. Is the panel easy to take off? Its the one right at the rear of the roof interior.

Well the water always drips through right hand side of the panel. I would of though the headlining would wet if it came through the aerial. I will check it out though.

I have traced this to the aerial. Despite 18 months ago replacing the rubber seal. Have ordered some sikaflex so that should sort it. Or should I of bought a replacement rubber seal? I tightened the nut as much as I dared and it still comes in and runs down the cable.
