Boot alignment?

I know it's small but I've noticed my boot lid is slightly out. I'm wondering if there is any way of lining it back up with the gap whether it be with a rubber Hammer or loosening the boot lid bracket to move it slightly
Heres a pic of what I mean.
The car hasn't ever been in accident so I don't know how this has happened!

Looking at the lights the gap thins down going down the boot lid, is the other side like this ??

On the other side the lights are in a straight line across the gap if that makes sense.
It's like the boot lid has been attempted to be shut on something and caused it to lift up a little.
