Just thought I would ask if anyone has had any problems with the Bonet release
The cable seems to have stretched so you have to pull the release handle really far forward to get it to release also the cable keeps popping out of the handle. It seems really loose and the ball part of the cable that sits in the handle pops out so I have to relocate it every time I open the bonnet.
The second issue I have is that once the Bonet is opened if you drop it again the secondary catch doesn't click to lock the Bonet. I have to lift it again and manually click the latch back on the lock and then drop the Bonet and it locks.
I'm wondering if anyone has had similar problems and weather there is a repair kit or something to fix the issue.
Should I just replace the steel cable and hope this fixes the problem.
I find it strange that the cable has stretched and there doesn't seem to have any way of adjusting it. On one end is the clip that clips onto the lock the other end had a ball on it where it slides into the handle
