Does anybody know the standard bolt length of the bolts that connect the rear calipers to the hub on a 2wd a3?

    Cheers

Do you mean the caliper onto the carrier?
or the carrier onto the hub?

Hello mate (good to meet you at R-Tec a few weeks ago BTW!), according to ETKA, the carrier to hub bolt is: M10x1,25x30 (that's for a rear caliper on the 2WD and 4WD A3) I haven't a clue what that all means but I'm sure someone much more knowledgeable will be along soon to translate that in laymans terms...

i only ask as i need slightly longer ones as i am fitting a 256mm upgrade on the rear and have to use 6mm spacers between the carrier and hub thus needing slightly longer bolts :D

M10 is the bolt size (diameter) 1.25 is the thread pitch and 30 is the length IIRC

would a 40mm bolt be ok to use with the 256mm upgrade? or will it be too long?
