Body Colour Spray Paint from Audi?

Hey chaps!

Just wondering if anyone knows if you can get spray paint to match your car colour from Audi? Thinking of taking my lock strip off and re-sanding it down and spraying it again as its rusted... Trouble is I don't trust the Halfords silver colour match lol!

Anyone know?

To be fair if you get a good person to match it at halfords, they do it well because its all computerised from your paint code, so they add which ever necessary colour by grams, but you wanna watch them as they do it, if they go like a gram over here and there might not come out exact. but mind you, the nibs are **** on they're spray cans as well so i'd avoid it.

My friends company has a full paint colour scheme and can mix any manufacturer colour, including all variances. I'm hoping to get him to sort my lock strip out as its also rusting loads.

They're local too so if you dropped it off for a day I doubt he'd be charging much as its just prep and spray and he doesn't have to spend the time taking it off the car. Can't hurt to email him for a quote: http://www.silverstonepaint.com/

When my Dad tried to get the touch up paint from Audi they said they didn't have paint for such old cars...2001 Silver S3 !

just go to a Automotive paint specialist...and give them the exact paint code. They should be able do it for you

don't go to halfords. I once had some paint prepared. It didn't even come close to the colour of my car...lol

Camberley Audi got me both the little imola yellow touch up pots and a spray can / spray lacquer for my 2000 S3, they came from the factory and did seem a little surprised they had them but it was no big deal.
