Am going to be putting my BMC CDA air box up for sale. It is for the 2.0TDI. £160 all in.

It's a fantastic bit of kit but I just had a change of heart.

Did you have the car dyno'd after fitting it? What power gains could a buyer expect?

Power gains? Realistically very little on it's own. But as part of an overall package (with remap and turbo back exhaust) it has it's part to play.

Normally a CAI and Turbo back exhaust would give about 5-10bhp max, which is very difficult to notice.

I haven't had the car on a dyno I'm afraid. Though it does make a noticeable difference at 30mph-60mph and 50-80.

BMC have tested the CDA on a Mk V Golf TDI (105bhp) they got an increase of 8 bhp and 20NM on an otherwise standard car.
