Realistically very little on it's own. But as part of an overall package (with remap and turbo back exhaust) it has it's part to play. Normally a CAI and Turbo back exhaust would give about 5-10bhp max, which is very difficult to notice.

I imported_DSGSport Guest Nov 30, 2005 #6 I haven't had the car on a dyno I'm afraid. Though it does make a noticeable difference at 30mph-60mph and 50-80. BMC have tested the CDA on a Mk V Golf TDI (105bhp) they got an increase of 8 bhp and 20NM on an otherwise standard car.
