Hi

Already have a thread re RNS-E as I'm going to retrofit one soon.

I've got bluetooth just now but will I still have it when I fit my RNS-E?

Yes. Your bluetooth will work as before via the MFSW.

You will also have the option of using the telephone via the RNS-E (once the car is VAGCOMed to suit the RNS-E).

Thanks Geoff

When you say VAGCOMed, whats needed and involved in this? And more importantly how much money we talking?

VAGCOM is software that connects to the car via a dedicated cable. The software can access and change the various setting within the car. To add the RNS-E you need to change the settings in the CAN gateway to add the RNS-E, change the Telephone module settings to tell it that you have the RNS-E, and then change the settings on the RNS-E itself to suit your specific car settings. There is lots of information on this here and on the navplus site http://www.navplus.us/
