    hello

just intsalled rnse and bluetooth and had coded so all seems to be working.
i think i may have an issue though. my phone says its still connected to the bluetooth module even when im in the house and switched everything off. although the car is still within range?? is this normal?

No, not normal - Bluetooth on phone should disconnect within a few seconds of turning the ignition off.

Could you not turn your Bluetooth off when you leave for the mean time instead of removing it? When I turn my ignition off my phone disconnects after a couple of seconds.

yea i usually switch my bt off my main concern is the power drain il will have. i had something about some models being faulty thats why i got the latest one but it seems this is also faulty

I think you may have a coding /wiring issue, I've not heard of any of the latest models having firmware fault.

If he was able to code it then the CAN wires are correct so the unit should switch off with the ignition. I would check the coding.

I've got a feeling there is an option which is accessible from within the coding of the Telephone module to enable the phone to be continuously connected, but wouldn't have thought this would work when the car is locked.
