Bluetooth phone kit

Hi guys,

Just wandered if anyone has had a problem with the bluetooth phone kit. On numerous occasions I'll be on the phone and half way through it will switch off from the car and then I need to hold the phone while driving until I can pull over. Once I finish the conversation and put the phone down, it will automatically re-connect to the car.

Im thinking that the issue is probably the phone but just wandered if anyone else has had this issue.

Sorry can't help but hate the in built kit. Everyone I speak with tells me that I have the worst bluetooth kit in the world which to hold a conversation with. I'm considering installing a parrot kit just to overcome this.

I've never had an issue with any bluetooth unit in a B8.
Does the same thing happen on a different bluetooth unit or different phone in your car?


Got a 3.5mm aux input on the stereo?
Use the headphone jack from the phone and plug it directly in to the head unit.
Sound from the car speakers and uses the mic in the phone. Seems to work ok on a couple of cars i tested it on.
