Got A6 Avant, parked under trees in father in laws garden for two weeks while on holiday now I've got water coming into car and the rear of the engine bay is filling up with water just under the battery compartment. Is there any drainage holes in the engine bay that could have been blocked by the dratted pines needles? :sadlike:

Theres a drain hole underneath the batery and also check where the windows pilars drop down behind the front wheel arches.

Its a common problem, just clear them out.

You had also better check the rear passenger footwell for water as well, as this is a symptom of having clogged drain holes as well.

Clear them out, dry out any affected areas and you should be ok
