Hi guys. Im looking at a 2005 A4 BLB engine which has very rough starting, massive coolant loss and some serious white smoke issues from the exhaust. After running a couple of minutes it's an immense fog of white smoke everywhere.
I've googled it and looks as though there's a few(!) known problems with this engine but how do I reliably diagnose it?
I'm pretty sure the heads cracked, I've had fords with faulty EGR coolers but it's not pressurising the coolant, just burning it.
